The Newtown duo of Jim Allen and Sasha Allen have made it to the top 8 throughout the 21 years of the Live Shows The Voice! Sasha revealed that he was transgender during their package to participate in Blind Auditions. Blind Auditions, and he admitted to Parade.com that the choice needed thought and consideration. Sasha stated that it was a struggle to make a decision because he was required to expose a fragile side of himself public in front of millions. He made the transition while it was still high school. The week before, during fan week, the emotion of people, their reactions, and how the people reacted was worth it. The song was played before The Voice even existed.
